I am a teacher and jewelry is my first love. I buy and make a lot of it. To learn the craft I have taken classes in enameling, metal smithing, lapidary, cold connections and beading in Syracuse University, Munson Williams Proctor Arts Institute, and with other private tutors. I am a grandmother of 18 and growing, I enjoy alot of different crafts, crocheting as well as knitting, and sewing, for others to enjoy. I have crocheted and Knitted for years, well since being taught in Primary, (a church group for children). I love to see a project come together, I garden, paint, sew and knit, crochet, as well as collect and read lots of great old books.

Well I have been setting up shop here in Colorado since January and since it doesn't look like I am going home any time soon, I have made a few changes here and there.

I have always been in awe of nature – its simplicity and beauty inspires me as an artist and as a human being. It seems only natural that I would be drawn to the woodcarving and wood-burning arts. 

I learned how to work with wood from my father. One day I watched him carve on a block of wood that, over time, he crafted into an exquisitely, detailed duck. I found the process so interesting that I asked him to teach me, which he did. 

I put a lot of love and attention to detail into my artistic creations just like my father taught me. You can see our woodwork (and other artistic creations) in our shop, "SpoiledFelinesArt". We hope that you find something special for yourself or for that special someone in your life!
