I have always been in awe of nature – its simplicity and beauty inspires me as an artist and as a human being. It seems only natural that I would be drawn to the woodcarving and wood-burning arts. 

I learned how to work with wood from my father. One day I watched him carve on a block of wood that, over time, he crafted into an exquisitely, detailed duck. I found the process so interesting that I asked him to teach me, which he did. 

I put a lot of love and attention to detail into my artistic creations just like my father taught me. You can see our woodwork (and other artistic creations) in our shop, "SpoiledFelinesArt". We hope that you find something special for yourself or for that special someone in your life!

I started making jewelry as a way to relieve stress while adding different types of jewelry to my own collection. After making the beautiful necklaces, bracelets and earrings for myself; family members wanted me to make them some. I realized how much I loved doing this and it became my passion. As a result Designs By Cherrae was born. The name Cherrae is a combination of my two daughter’s name.

I love making earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and anklets by using macramé cord rhinestone beads pave beads crystals disco balls and Shamballa beads. I also use Swarovski crystals, tiger eye beads, lampwork beads, freshwater pearls, fire polish and glass beads for a different look of earrings, necklaces, bracelets and anklets. Sterling silver, silver plated, gold plated, silver chains, leather cords are also added to my designs. My jewelry is handmade with love. Crocheted items such as belts, earrings, scarves, hats, baby booties will be added soon.

I am a Medical Technologist by trade, but recently became disabled and now have time to devote to my jewelry. Crafting has always been a part of my life. I took art lessons as a child, and have been doing some sort of art or craft ever since. My grandmother taught me how to do simple beadweaving when I was 10 or 11 years old. , but it wasn't until about 5 years ago that I began designing and making my jewelry. I am an avid bead collector and always have a large supply on hand from which to create. My inspiration comes from nature. Color and texture in my work comes from the colors and textures of the natural world.
