Clemmie V’s is a gathering of gorgeous versatile bags, all hand sewn and embellished by me. Wristlets, Totes, Purses, Pouches, all made from Cotton, Burlap and Silk in Vibrant colors . All items are OOAK(one of a kind) and I do take custom orders. Clemmie V’s also carries handmade Christmas Teddy Bears in a colorful collection.

I'm a stay-at-home mom to the sweetest little boy in the world. I do most of my crafting while he's at school so we can have adventures when he's not. I am having a blast creating and finding cute new designs for babies and toddlers as well as expanding to youth and adult T-shirts. I love batik for the bright colors and the lines you get when you crack the wax just before dipping it in the dye.

Everything I make is done in my kitchen (no, really -- ask my husband about the wax on the stove) in my home in Waldorf, Charles County, Maryland. I am proud to be a Southern Maryland crafter, and I am constantly in awe of the work of the local artists here!

Back in the 70's I became a macrame artist full time in Honolulu designing and knotting delicate jewelry from colorful nylon #18 cord plus lots of tiny beads and shells -- the same features that identify micro macrame today. It was the best time of my life...living a block from the beach and creating lovely adornments for a living.

Having finally escaped the corporate world, I'm free to get back to doing what I love most. The vintage beads, Hawaiian shells, and cord are unpacked, my creativity is unleashed, and all that is missing is the beach. So I get out the Hawaiian records, sit on the floor making macrame like in the old days, and the beach comes back to me. I'm forever tied to the sea.

One shop section, "Sentimental Journeys" is named for a collection I created where I re-purpose vintage postcards into new designs for a new generation. Without compromising the vintage art, I hand paint a new, extended border so that the original border appears to be cascading over, creating the new design. This unique collection has over 60 designs with about 15 in the shop now.

This shop proudly donates (25%) of all sales to the Migraine Research Foundation, a nonprofit which funds grants in migraine research.
